My mom boug...That reminds me of when I was a child. My mom bought a coconut and we had quite a time getting it open LOL. Good memories! <br /><br />My husband was an MK and lived in places like the Philippines where he tells me that not only do the fresh coconuts taste much different (he won't even eat the ones here, but loved them there), but people don't even really eat the ripe coconuts, they eat green coconuts.<br /><br />The "meat" on green coconuts is similar in texture to a custard.
