31 Days Challenge- Day 17: Try Something that You've Been Avoiding

Congratulations for making it through 17 days!! (Or perhaps you're just recently joining us which is great too!!)

Today's challenge is a little different from the others because it is highly individualized. It requires you to look at what your kids are eating, look at what you're serving, what you're cooking, what your buying, and pick that one thing that you really know you should be doing but you're not. Today's challenge is to take a "risk."

Perhaps there's a food that you really want your kids to try but you're afraid it won't go well...

Perhaps there's a recipe you've been wanting to make but you're afraid that it won't work out or that no one will eat it...

Perhaps there's something that your kids eat or drink a lot of, and you know that they shouldn't, but you're afraid that you'll meet resistance if you try to take it away...

Perhaps you need to change something in your own diet or your own habits to set a better example, but you just haven't been able to let it go...

I know that for me, things nag at me for a while before I'm really ready to make the change. What is the change that you've been putting off? Try to make a least one step towards that change today- even if it's nothing more than a plan. Put the hesitations aside, put the fear of failure behind. Be willing to risk a "fail."
