Simply the Best Bunless Turkey or Chicken Burgers
The picture doesn't look like much, but these turkey burgers (which can also be made with ground chicken) are really good.
We hadn't had them for a while and then made them again a few weeks ago and I was, yet again, amazed by how good they taste.
Simply the Best Bunless Turkey or Chicken Burgers
1 lb ground chicken or turkey
1/4 cup shredded zucchini
1 T Worcestershire Sauce (We use Lea and Perrins because it doesn't have High Fructose Corn Syrup)
2 T ketchup (Simply Heinz, Heinz organic or other ketchup without High Fructose Corn Syrup)
1 cup homemade whole wheat breadcrumbs (toast and grind ends of whole wheat bread)*
*The last time my husband made these, we were out of bread so he made them with whole wheat
English muffins... they were exceptionally good!
Mix all ingredients.
Form into small patties.
Bake on baking sheet at 375 for @ 30 minutes
*If desired, melt some cheese on top. No buns needed. Serve with sweet potato fries and a salad.

These sound really good, I'm going to have to give them a try soon.
ReplyDeleteThey are really good... better than they look- Don't leave out the zucchini though- my husband made them this week and forgot to add the zucchini- It really helps to make them moist!
